Delete your Akalpaniya account
This page is for the Akalpaniya app (Acharia Edtech) on Google Play and at app.akalpaniya.ai. You can delete your account and the data in it yourself, in a minute, from inside the app.
How to delete it
- Open Akalpaniya and sign in.
- Open the menu and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read what it says, type DELETE and confirm.
Your account is erased straight away. This cannot be undone.
If you cannot sign in
Write to support@akalpaniya.ai from any address with the phone number you signed up with, and say you want your account deleted. We will confirm it is you by that number and delete the account.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in (phone number) and profile: name and class.
- Your chats, saved answers and notes.
- Your practice papers, chapter tests, attempts and marks, and the answer photos you submitted.
- Your streak and progress.
- Your subscription record and the email you typed at checkout.
- The usage log we keep about your account (event names, subject, chapter, counts; never the text of your messages).
No copy is kept for us to restore.
What is kept, and for how long
- One line for the free trial, for two years. The free trial is once for each phone number, so we keep a scrambled fingerprint of the number (it cannot be read back) and the date the trial began. It holds no name, no chats and nothing else, and it removes itself two years after the trial began.
- Payment records. Invoices and transaction records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, and the payment provider (Razorpay or Google) keeps its own record under its own policy. We cannot delete these on request.
